Vulnerability, Isolation, and Poverty, affect many older people to different degrees, and if we are to live in a society where older people are respected and enabled to meet their aspirations then these issues must be addressed. This is even more important during these difficult economic times.
The beneficiaries of the charity’s work have been:
In the year 2008-2009 we helped and supported approximately 25,000 older people in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Here are a few examples of what your donations can mean to an older person
I could write reams about the valuable work Age Concern does but I think our video will demonstrate the plight of many of our older people and how your donation can help us to help them.
Help us improve the quality of life for all older people. Make a donation to support this vital work.
In order to continue our work, we are dependant upon the generous donations received from the public and corporate bodies.
You will be aware that corporate giving is tax deductible and is in line with many companies' Corporate Social Responsibility values. Increase your donation at no extra cost by using Gift Aid. You can download a Gift Aid form here
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and when you are considering making a contribution, you should make out your cheque to Age Concern Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan or donate online here.
